Home / Who We Are

Paws Fur Recovery is a private no-kill dog rescue committed to creating second chances for dogs that find themselves homeless through no fault of their own. Many of our dogs are rescued from the fate of imminent euthanasia at the overcrowded shelters in our region, in 2025 we placed 160+ dogs into loving furever homes.

Our fabulous team of staff and volunteers work tirelessly to save dogs, guide these amazing dogs as they recover from the traumas of abandonment and homelessness, and seek out awesome adopters to offer new “forever homes.”

Paws Fur Recovery operates a climate-controlled kennel facility in rural Martin County (Indiantown) and also has a network of foster homes in the treasure coast area.

Help us create happy endings for even more dogs as our important work continues in 2026. Adopt! Donate! Foster! Volunteer! Thanks to the support of people like you, we’re changing lives—one dog and one family at a time.

We look forward to what 2026 will bring with your support!

Testimonials From Paws Fur Recovery Volunteers

#WhoRescuedWho

“What an incredible thing to be a part of. These dogs don’t ask to be without home. They don’t ask to not be understood. They don’t ask to be without guidance… Paws Fur Recovery continues to advocate, continues to be a voice, continues to seek out that safe space, and continues to provide love, support, and guidance to these dogs in need. I needed it. They need it. I will always be grateful for having the opportunity to remain involved and grow as a result. I will continue to remain a part of this mission.”
